Last Sunday, 7 December, the ISP Friendly Cup once again brought our community together at the International School of Prague. A total of 32 teams competed across two categories, continuing the tournament’s tradition of welcoming players of all levels to compete side by side. PPC players were joined by our friends from Lotus, making for a day that was as social as it was competitive.
The morning kicked off with 16 mixed doubles teams, divided into four pools for round-robin play. With plenty of close rallies and nail-biting finishes, the intensity quickly built, and eight teams advanced to the playoff rounds after an exciting group stage.
In the afternoon, the action shifted to men’s doubles, where another 16 teams battled through the same round-robin format before moving into a knockout bracket. As the level of play in Prague continues to rise, the matches became faster, sharper, and increasingly competitive—keeping both players and spectators fully engaged until the final points were played.
A huge thank-you to ISP for providing such a fantastic indoor venue during the cold, dark winter months, when outdoor pickleball is on pause until spring. Their continued support makes events like this possible and keeps our community playing year-round.
We look forward to welcoming you back at the 2026 ISP Friendly Cup tournaments—dates coming soon!
