A great number of PPC members packed their paddles and headed to Győr, Hungary, for the Hungarian Open pickleball tournament — and what a trip it was! Nestled at the confluence of the Moson-Danube, Rába, and Rábca rivers, this charming baroque town turned out to be the perfect host: cobblestone streets, a relaxing thermal spa, and — most importantly — excellent courts.
The tournament itself ran smoothly from start to finish, with great organization and even better competition. Our members brought home some serious hardware: two gold medals and two bronze medals — a fantastic result that says a lot about how far our club has come!
Big congratulations to everyone who competed, and thanks to all who made the trip such a fun one.
