Meet our Leadership Team
At Prague Pickleball Club, our Leadership Team is the dedicated group that keeps the ball rolling - on and off the court. As a non-profit organization, we are driven not by profit but by a shared passion for growing the sport of Pickleball throughout the Czech Republic. Our team organizes a wide range of activities for members, including exciting tournaments, engaging social gatherings, open play sessions, lessons, clinics, and structured club play.
Our leadership members come from diverse backgrounds and countries around the world, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives, united by their love for the game. Their dedication, energy, and commitment ensure that every player—whether beginner or advanced—has opportunities to learn, compete, and connect with the growing Pickleball community. It is their hard work and enthusiasm that make Prague Pickleball Club a vibrant, welcoming, and thriving non-profit hub for Pickleball enthusiasts across the region.

CHAIR
Jan Dvořáček
Jan is founder and Chair of PPC and keeps the club running smoothly with his steady behind-the-scenes support. He is originally from Zvolen, Slovakia (don’t let his Czech name fool you!) and moved to Prague in 2018 for work. The first time Jan saw people playing pickleball, he laughed it off and wouldn’t consider even trying the sport. Then several years and an elbow fracture later, he finally tried it and was immediately hooked. His favorite thing about the sport is that it is a game for everyone, and his favorite shot is the backhand.

Vice-chair and Head Coach
Rado Petrišin
Rado is PPC’s vice-chair and head coach and is an integral part of growing the sport of pickleball in Prague and across the Czech Republic. With a lifetime of racquet sports behind him, he is now fully committed to pickleball and offers private training and clinics through PPC. Originally from Bardejov, Slovakia, Rado moved to Prague in 2024 and has been working as a physiotherapist, helping people to live a pain-free, healthy life. His favorite shot is the backhand slice, and his off-court hobby is stand-up comedy.

Treasurer
Kristyna Diewokova
Kristyna is PPC’s treasurer and keeps us all in line with her overhead smash shot. She has a background in law and is originally from Chrudim, CZ. After spending 20 years in the U.S. and the Netherlands, Kristyna returned to Prague in 2022. When she’s not on the pickleball court, Kristyna loves travelling, dancing, family movie nights, and long walks with her labradoodle, Lilly.

Secretary
Frida Castillo Arredondo
Frida is a founder of PPC and is responsible for much of the club’s behind-the-scenes organization. She was born in Mexico City, studied Human Rights Law in Geneva, and lived in eight countries before coming to Prague in 2024. Surprised at the lack of opportunities to play the sport, she laid the groundwork for PPC, now home to over 250 players, and has been integral in growing the sport in the Czech Republic. When she’s not practicing her dropshots, she’s dreaming of becoming a professional dancer.

Senior Advisor
Karel Kapr
Karel has been the driving force of pickleball in Prague since we first started playing in January 2024. His sports facility, Sky Sport City, was the first to welcome pickleball indoors, and he went on to build the first outdoor courts in Prague. With his unwavering commitment and guidance, Karel has helped shape PPC into what it is today and continues to play a key role in its growth.

Tournament & Events Lead
Dita Danhelkova
Dita brings her project management background to serve as the Tournament & Events Coordinator for PPC. She is skilled at keeping things moving forward and turning chaos into structure. Her favorite pickleball shot is when her drop lands exactly where she plans. When she’s not hitting pickleballs, Dita can be found hitting the road – either traveling or on a motorcycle, which she’s been racing since childhood.

Member Support and Play Coordinator & Coach
Sue Sejda
Sue provides member support as well as guidance for travellers visiting Prague who are looking for a place to get their pickleball fix. She is a passionate and “expressive” player, which she blames on her years working as a trial attorney. With no racquet sport background to speak of, Sue built her game from the ground up - with the help of PPC’s own Head Coach, Rado. Sue also provides coaching, with a focus on children, and is passionate about introducing the next generation to the sport. Aside from pickleball, her passions include cross-country skiing, competitive public speaking, and her faith.

Coach & Web Development
Pete Pulkrabek
Pete brings decades of tennis and coaching experience with him to his role as senior coach for PPC. He received a Division 1 tennis scholarship in 2000, but his path split to follow his musical dreams, which led him to touring around the world, playing drums with many bands. Pete has now found his way back to racquet sports, where he leads pickleball clinics and offers private coaching for PPC. He is also responsible for building the PPC website and managing the club’s web-based logistics. Off court, he can be found playing drums in his band Pig Lipstick, rock climbing, or tending to his ant farm.

Copywriting & Marketing
Fawn Larson
Fawn is a copywriter and marketing professional who loves creative solutions and long dink rallies. She moved to Prague in 2024 from Nashville, TN, and has been an active member of the PPC team since the club’s inception. Her favorite thing about pickleball is the community aspect and how it brings people together. Off-court, Fawn can be found looking for the spiciest food in town or playing guitar and singing in her band, Pig Lipstick.

Community Outreach Coordinator
Lenka Morgan
Lenka helps PPC build connections with local organizations, clubs, and schools. As a native Praguer, she is an integral part of the PPC team when doing local outreach. Lenka is a baking phenomenon and can often be found sharing tasty treats at PPC events. Her favorite thing about pickleball is the social aspect and how it brings people from varied backgrounds and ages together.

Photography & Communications
Emmalynn Hansen
Emmalynn is PPC’s social media manager, photographer, and communications coordinator. She came to Prague from Oregon, USA, in 2022 and works in communications and dissemination for international EU projects. Emmalynn’s enthusiastic spirit and keen eye have helped capture many magical court moments. Outside of PPC, she can be found enjoying yoga, music, or shooting with her film camera.

Coach & Community Coordinator
Vojtech Petr
Vojtech is a senior coach at PPC and brings years of experience to the team. His background in tennis and floorball have given him the skills needed to coach people on the pickleball court, while having fun in the process. Vojtech’s favorite thing about the sport is how creative you can get while playing, as well as the community. His favorite shot is a tie between the elusive “around-the-post” and the elegant drop shot. Off-court, he can be found playing card games or table games with his friends.

Coach
Vlaďka Šedá
Vladka brings years of professional coaching experience to PPC and is a graduate of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Charles University, with a major in coaching. She loves pickleball because it combines her two favorite sports - tennis and table tennis. Outside of pickleball, Vladka also teaches high school computer science and coaches volleyball for the SK Prosek extra league team.

Coach
Prajuna Adhikari
Prajuna began playing pickleball in Nepal in 2022 and now contributes to PPC as a junior coach. Her approach to the sport is similar to chess- slow, strategic, and never without a plan. Prajuna helps players avoid bad habits and develop solid fundamentals in footwork, positioning, and shot selection. Off court, Prajuna enjoys exploring new places, staying active, and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

Tournament & Events Coordinator
Emile Ares
Emile is a native Ottowan who helps organize the PPC League as well as tournaments at the International School of Prague. After years of playing various racquet sports, pickleball won him over, and he never turned back. Off court, you can find Emile looking for a good spot to play pinball.

ISP Community and Events Liaison
Brenda Manfredi
Brenda helps organize tournaments and manages relations with the International School of Prague (ISP), a popular court venue for PPC. Originally from Eastern Long Island, NY, she moved to Prague in 2020 and is a counselor at ISP. Brenda’s favorite thing about pickleball is how accessible it is, and she is currently working on her soft game. Off court, she can be found enjoying many other sports such as snowboarding, paddle boarding, mountain biking, and surfing.

Member Support
Alex de Villiers
Alex is a welcoming presence to people looking to find their pickleball community within Prague. He hails from South Africa and moved to Prague in 2021. A true team player, Alex’s favorite thing about pickleball is the fact that it is so accessible, regardless of age or fitness level. Alex has proven grit, both on and off court, and once sailed a 40ft boat across the Atlantic Ocean with the help of two crew members.
