Beautiful blue skies and warm weather provided the perfect setting for our fifth PPC Pickle Mixer on Sunday, 29 June 2025. Rado and Sue organized a friendly, laid-back tournament at the Sky Sport City outdoor courts, complete with Dita’s playlist beats, post-match recovery stretches led by Rado, and Neapolitan-style pizza from Labonetta.
Six randomly generated mixed doubles teams competed in a round-robin format, leading to two tight final matches for the coveted gold, silver, and bronze Pickleball trophies. The entire day, thankfully, saw only one casualty—a crushed pickleball. The perfect symbol of an evening of hard play, big laughs, and a great time all around.
