Last Saturday, 13 December, 16 players gathered on the courts at Sky Sport City for the final Mixer of the year—and an early Christmas celebration. With a great mix of familiar faces and new players, the atmosphere was festive from the start. Dressed in holiday colours, we brought the cheer… but once the games began, things heated up fast and everyone fought for every point with all the skills they could summon.
Music filled the courts as we drove, dropped, and dinked our way through the evening, until the top three teams finally emerged. The arrival of the pizzas helped bring the competitive edge down a notch, and while we refuelled, Damian walked us through the rules of the White Elephant gift exchange. Watching a pre-loved pink paddle and a funky Indonesian wooden statue cradling a pickleball change hands again and again provided continuous entertainment for all.
Thanks to Lenka and Dita’s impeccable organization, it was a fantastic evening full of movement, laughter, and connection—once again proving what a special community we have at PPC. Join us for the many Mixers planned already in 2026!
