Last weekend, a big crew from PPC, Lotus, and our Slovak players headed to Győr, Hungary for the Pannon Cup – part of the World Pickleball Championship (WPC) series.
The tournament took place at the Olympic Sport Park, a seriously impressive venue with 14 indoor hard courts. As an official WPC stop, the level was high across the board, with a proper mix of top players and strong amateur fields competing across multiple categories.
The tournament was well organized, featuring clear schedules, free refreshments, medical staff onsite, continuous live streaming on center court, photographers, a dedicated Instagram with great daily content.
Our group made the most of the weekend, bringing home an impressive collection of medals and delivering standout performances across multiple categories.
Beyond the results, the Pannon Cup was a reminder of what makes this community special—competition balanced with friendship, on and off-court laughs, plenty of sideline cheering, and a lot of fun along the way.
We’re proud of everyone who represented PPC and our partner clubs—and already looking forward to the next tournament abroad.
