Zdiměřice Cup Results and Recap

Saturday, June 21st

Last Saturday’s Zdiměřice Cup was a smashing success organized to perfection by Lenka and Dita! The day ran like clockwork thanks to their impeccable planning, eye for detail, and flair for fun. The tournament brought together everything we love about pickleball and more: good vibes, great rallies, our favorite music, BBQ, and a cookie medal tournament twist to wrap things up.

The day kicked off with the men’s and women’s doubles categories, featuring 10-minute timed round robin matches followed by finals and third-place playoffs. At midday, the action continued with two mixed doubles tournaments running in parallel, keeping things lively and giving everyone plenty of playtime. After the mixed doubles tournament, things got extra fun as we kicked off the cookie medal tournament, where stakes were high with Lenka’s coveted baking on the line. Using the earlier mixed doubles results, new teams were formed – reshuffled to keep things balanced, fresh, and just the right amount of unpredictable. It was all about having fun and closing the day with a laugh!

Huge thanks again to Lenka and Dita for creating a day full of laughter, teamwork, friendly competition, and a sprinkle of silliness. The bar for PPC tournaments has been raised again!
