Zdiměřice Ultra Tournament - Results & Recap

PPC players enjoyed three days of intense matches at the Zdiměřice Ultra Tournament, which took place at For Padel Sport Park Zdiměřice on September 5-7, 2025.

Although we faced some rough weather during Friday’s matches, the tournament was luckily able to be moved indoors so the tournament could continue. It only added to the camaraderie and friendly atmosphere, as we sheltered from the storm outside and watched some exciting matches.

Friday – Mixed Doubles & Mixed Doubles Advanced

We kicked off Friday afternoon with mixed doubles. Once the rain started to fall, two pickleball courts were prepared indoors, allowing everyone to continue playing.

Both the Mixed Doubles and Mixed Doubles Advanced categories offered extremely close matches, where only small details made the difference. The very first day showed that the level of play is rising quickly and that there is a lot to look forward to.

Saturday – Men’s and Women’s Doubles

Saturday morning’s matches also took place indoors to avoid weather-related interruption, but around noon the weather improved, and the tournament could finally move to the outdoor courts, where the atmosphere was fantastic!

The schedule featured men’s and women’s doubles in both the regular and advanced categories. The highlight of the day was the advanced men’s doubles final, which took place in the evening under the full moon and floodlights. It was truly unforgettable to witness.

Sunday – Singles

Sunday was all about singles. In the morning, the women took to the courts and delivered very spirited performances and beautiful rallies. After lunch, it was the men’s turn, and the tournament closed in the afternoon with the men’s singles advanced category. The matches were of great quality and provided a perfect ending to the entire weekend.

We would like to thank all the players for their effort, the spectators for their support, and the organizers for their excellent work. The tournament in Zdiměřice once again proved that pickleball has a bright future in the Czech Republic, and we are already looking forward to the next events on court!
